In Italy, thanks to the 110% Superbonus scheme, anyone who completes renovation works by 31st December 2023 will receive a 110% detraction on costs incurred for interventions that will improve the energy efficiency of buildings and reduce seismic risk.
Who is it for?
All there is to know
The 110% tax deduction is valid for works carried out from 1st July 2020 to 31st December 2023, and will be divided into 5 equal instalments.
With the 2022 Budget Law, the Superbonus Scheme has been extended to 2025. Detraction rates are now remodulated according to the year and recipient. Specifically, 70% for expenses incurred in 2024, and 65% for expenses incurred in 2025.
Overall, interventionsmust result in an improvement of at least 2 energy classes (for example from D to B), even jointly with other energy efficiency interventions, the installation of photovoltaic plants and storage systems.
If a 2-class increase is not possible, the highest energy class must be achieved, so in the case of “A3” classification, the Superbonus is recognised by increasing to “A4”.
